Dare to Square

Here is a new collage design. It is offered in a 16x16 or 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas. Each little square can be filled with a picture of your little one, or designed like this with some added elements.

One HOT August Day, One shy two year old, and One Copperhead Snake - Murfreesboro Portrait Session

My first August session, and it was HOT!! I often suggest for this age we go outside for a session, since it is so difficult for them in a studio setting. I take that back, this probably applies to every month except August, LOL! We even scheduled it early to beat the heat, Ha! It has been about a year since I last photographer Alex, he was a shy boy for this session. We have a whole lot of serious shots! We ventured to the creek, that often will break a kid out of their shell! Then we saw the biggest snake I have ever seen in the wild. Jon said it looked like a Copperhead, so I googled it and sure enough it was a Copperhead! I actually had them all sitting at that very spot about 30 minutes before we saw the snake. Smack... that is the sound of me slapping myself on the forehead.... why didn't I take a picture of that snake???

Anyway here are a few of Alex.

This little gal came in for her 3 year old pictures and brought her older brother to join in on a few. I love photographing older children, it is so much fun!

I had two baby plan graduates come in for their 1 year session recently. Sometimes they aren't quite walking at 1, sometimes they are a little, and sometimes they are a pro (see part two). To be honest it is a whole lot easier when they aren't quite walking, but... (continued on part two)

Summer Special

Beat the heat and come inside for summer portraits

It is HOT outside. So come on inside to my NEW home studio for some fun colorful summer portraits.



On August 9th I will be having a summer special. I will be putting up some colorful backdrops, so bring your children dressed in their colorful summer clothing. It is a great time to get a great deal, and get some summer portraits of your child. The session fee for this day only is $40! I will also be having some special package deals for you to purchase the day of the special.
